KPASB for breeding meat and fat sheep “Arashan” is a non-governmental, non-profit organization created in 2019 on the voluntary initiative of sheep breeders of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Members of the Organization may be citizens who own sheep of the Arashan breed, for which the Association has carried out a grading and issued a breeding card.

The Kyrgyz meat and fat breed of sheep Arashan was registered with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of the Kyrgyz Republic on April 15, 2021, No. 110, registered by Kyrgyzpatent on August 30, 2023, No. 664 as a “Breeding Achievement” issued to the Kyrgyz Public Association of Sheep Breeders.
